Director, Creative Communications and Services

Promoted and grew a team to 7 full-time employees, 35 freelancers, 3 part-time employees, and numerous vendors and agencies ensuring seamless execution of deliverables across print, e-mail, social, and digital platforms. Lead creative campaign development for alumni and donor communications and marketing, resulting in the launch of the university’s inaugural giving day and a complete transformation of the homecoming campaign creative strategy. Oversee budget allocation of $550,000, ensuring efficient financial management. Redesign creative workflows and processes to align with a new team structure and to scale for campaign launch.

Director, Storytelling and Communications

University of Colorado Boulder, Advancement

Developed a cohesive brand voice for CU Boulder alumni and advancement communications, ensuring strategic alignment with university priorities. Oversaw allocation and management of a $420,000 budget. Collaborated with the leadership team while overseeing a team of 5 individuals and coordinating the efforts of 14 staff members, 25 freelancers, vendors, and a design firm. Created and implemented an effective internal communication strategy, launching the internal communications program for the division. Acted as the primary executive communicator, responsible for writing, editing, and strategically planning leadership communications.

Assistant Director, Marketing

University of Colorado Boulder

Launched the College of Engineering’s pioneering admissions marketing efforts, catalyzing the development of an effective university-wide model to coordinate admissions marketing strategies. Oversaw executive writing for the college, including the development of impactful talking points, video scripts, and internal communications. Supervised a team of 3-4 students responsible for managing social media, video, and website operations. Cultivated strategic relationships across campus, effectively managing through influence to garner support for multiple projects.
